Hello hello!
I'm inaugurating this Blog section on my website for a very special reason: I want to introduce you to my first personal photographic project: LGBTQIA+plural.
As part of the LGBTQIA+ community, I feel like we're still underrepresented in photography and art in general, especially when it comes to certain groups, like black people, transgender people, fat people, people with disabilities etc.
Besides being a photographer, I also have a degree in journalism, and even though I haven't worked as one in the past years, I'm still very inclined into hearing people's stories and sharing them.
That's why I decided to combine two of my many passions - writing and photography - into this special imagetic storytelling project, which mainly intends to highlight the plurality of the LGBTQIA+ community.
The way I've been conducting it essentially consists in meeting wonderful people, listening to their stories, having breathtaking conversations and capturing the most of it in candid portraits. :)
The project is still open to new participants. So if you see yourself as part of the LGBTQIA+ group somehow, feel free to reach out to me and join us. Let's build something beautiful - and truly diverse - together.
